DiRocco Welcomes Italian Little League Team
It was an exciting end to August. The one time a year Williamsport can welcome the world. Not only did Williamsport welcome the world for the 2016 Little League World Series, but our own Mr. Kenneth DiRocco did as well. Ken, along with Williamsport’s Ufficiale Bersaglieri Lodge 138, hosted a picnic and pool party for the Little League team from Emilia Romagna, Italy. Instead of trying to mimic the great Italian food that the team eats everyday at home, real American picnic food was provided to the All Star Team. They loved it! Mr. DiRocco also bought all the team members and the coaches trophies saying ” Champion of the Italian Community in Williamsport, PA” from Ufficiale Bersaglieri Lodge 138.
This isn’t the first time the DiRocco family welcomed a team from Emilia Romagna. Over eight years ago, some of the same individuals from Emilia Romagna area enjoyed a similar party with the DiRocco family.
