This logo was commissioned to brand and help promote an annual celebration held in Williamsport, PA to kick-off the Little League World Series. A baseball diamond provides the main shape of the logo, with an imprint of the continents on the field to show the world-wide character of the celebration. The arc of the baseball’s flight originates from the area of Williamsport on the map in order to symbolize the founding of Little League in this city. The general look and feel are designed to be reminiscent of a baseball team logo, while the font and color selection give the logo a slightly “vintage” appearance.
