This design was conceived by Impact as an update and refresh of the long-time Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce corporate logo. The central “WLCC” letters retained their traditional look to maintain continuity with the Chamber’s past logo. The orange-yellow sun rays behind the dark blue of the letters provide a wonderful contrast of temperature and value while imbuing the logo with a definite new life and vibrancy. The words “Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce” together with the slogan “Local business. Local success” encircle and contain the entire logo, while providing a balance to the dark blue in the central letters. This logo is an excellent example of how a brand can be given new life if done properly.
