The city of Williamsport was chosen as the host of the 2008 Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Pennsylvania and Impact Advertising was selected by the city to develop all promotional materials for the event. The presentation of the Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Pennsylvania was a public ceremony administered by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. The awards were personally presented by Governor Edward G. Rendell. The Governor’s Awards for the Arts is the Commonwealth’s highest award for contributions in the arts to Pennsylvania artists and arts organizations of distinction. This particular component of the marketing campaign was a digital billboard to promote the ceremony featuring guest speaker, actor Michael Keaton.
