Many of you know that we are this area’s premier source for award-winning high quality video production. But you might not know that almost a decade ago, we stepped into the forefront of video technology by becoming one of the first in the area shooting with HD cameras and delivering full 1080p Blu-ray discs.

You may also not know that we were one of the first agencies to produce high definition commercials for broadcast TV in the Scranton/WIlkes-Barre, Harrisburg, Altoona/ Johnston and Hagerstown DMAs. And we also produce videos for use on websites, as well as company documentaries and corporate video in that same high definition format.

Since those early days of HD, we have invested heavily in green screen studios, special lighting, boom mics, wireless mics, jib arms, camera cranes, dolly tracks, tele-prompters and more. Simply stated, we’ve been producing really great looking and effective video for our clients for years, and will continue to do so.

That’s exactly why we just made a significant investment in next generation video equipment.

We’re pleased to announce that Impact is the first in our region shooting television commercials, corporate, and online video with the cinema quality Blackmagic 4k Production Camera! 4k resolution, or Ultra HD, is the broadcast format of the future, and produces an image four times the size of current high definition video.

That means that there are twice as many pixels, or little dots, that make up the image as there are in standard HD. The result is a crisper, more dynamic image that has to be seen to be believed. And because the Blackmagic 4k Production Camera utilizes a Super 35 sensor and high precision EF lenses, your commercial or production will look like it was shot on film by a Hollywood caliber cinematographer. The images we’ve been creating with this camera are stunning and I can’t wait to share them with you.

The future format of video is available right now, here at Impact Advertising. I invite you to call us and inquire how we can help you utilize this new technology to your advantage.
