Two More ADDY Awards for The Display Wall!

Every year, the American Advertising Federation puts on The American Advertising Awards. Judging starts at the regional level, and carries on through three rounds until they’ve crowned national award winners. The AAA’s are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local competitions.

Silver Award For TV Spot
This year, we submitted two really great pieces of creative for consideration, and I’m pleased to tell you that we came home with 2 ADDY® Awards! The Northeast Pennsylvania branch of the American Advertising Federation awarded a Professional SILVER ADDY® to a :60 TV commercial that we took from concept to delivery for Toyota of Scranton  – meaning the entire commercial was written, shot, and edited by the video team here at Impact. We named the spot “Right Here In Scranton”, and you can view it by clicking the image above.

Gold Awarded To Brochure Design
The second big winner is a beautiful promotional brochure we designed and produced for Water Tower Square, and it was awarded a Professional GOLD ADDY®. A GOLD ADDY® is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category, according to the American Advertising Federation’s website. Professional GOLD ADDY® recipients at the local level are automatically entered into the District Two round of judging, which comprises all of Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. District Two judging takes place in New York City.

Of course, we don’t do this to win awards. Our focus is and always will be helping our clients achieve their goals for their business, but it’s nice to have our work recognized by peers from time to time. With that in mind, we just sent off a few more submissions to another big competition, so wish us luck.
